Benjamin Barrah, M.D., F.A.C.P.

Dr Benjamin Barrah is the founding partner of Atlantic Physicians Group that offers a full range of primary care, skin, and aesthetic services. Dr. Barrah appreciates his long commitment to patient care in New York City, particularly to Brooklyn, where he partners with his patients to provide compassionate, high-quality medical care and shared decision-making to achieve better outcomes.

After graduating from medical school and completing a medical internship, Dr. Barrah became a Dermatology House Officer. He completed postgraduate training in Clinical Dermatology at the University of London and served as Graduate Education Specialty Trainee Fellow in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Miami, Florida. Guided by the mentorship of Professor Jackson Omene, Dr Barrah moved to New York, where he completed Internal Medicine residency and stayed back to practice in NYC.

A former Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, Dr. Barrah has provided expert guidance to his patients in receiving the best medical care as an attending physician in many hospitals in Brooklyn and at his private practice on 1545 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, where he has also mentored many resident doctors and overseas visiting physicians. He is a Board Certified physician, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a certified laser specialist, and a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery.

He is affiliated with New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and One Brooklyn Health System.
